In Chinese Medicine theory, the season of spring is associated with the liver and the element of wood while summer is associated with the organ of the heart and the element of fire. At this time of year, we shift from the birth of springtime to the growth of summer. Join us at Gaea to honor this change of season. Kate Smith will be teaching a 2-hour Yang-2-Yin Yoga class incorporating an essential oil blend to support the body and mind (as well as the liver and heart) in this time of transition. Our Seasonal Yin Yoga classes are offered 4 times a year around the solstices and the equinoxes. Space is limited.
