Yoga Grad School, y'all. In this journey together, we plan to take you far beyond the concepts of just teaching daily classes. At the completion of our 300-hour Advanced Training, it is the intention of Gaea Yoga School for you to have planned and practiced a 2-3 hour workshop that could be taught to yoga students on a more advanced level.
Required Module: 100 hours
If you have already taken our 100-hour Yin Training as part of your 200-hour certification, we allow you to re-take this training to count as 100 hours toward your 300-hour certification. We do this because our Yin Yoga Training is constantly evolving and updating. There is always new material bring covered. Not to mention, we believe that sometimes we need to hear things more than once for the information to truly be digested. Often, it's the repetition of the subject matter that allows us to genuinely learn the material.
Those taking the Yin training for a 2nd time would be considered students taking the training in the advanced track and will be asked to demonstrate or present topics to the group as part of their advanced learning.
Remaining Electives: 200 hours
As part of our 300-hour program, we offer in-studio modules and/or retreats to complete the remaining 200 hours of training beyond our required 100-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training module. These elective modules span the following topics:
Mantra & Japa
The Bhagavad Gita
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras
The Wisdom and Allegories of Hindu Deities
Organ Health & Physiology
Diet & Nutrition

PLEASE NOTE: Our training season is mostly condensed into 6-8 months a year, giving us the other few months to catch our breaths and studySTUDYstudy to prepare for YOU. We offer most of our training modules from the early Fall (September-ish) through the Winter and into early Spring (March-ish). Every now and then we might have workshops outside of this scheduling, but that is curerntly not the norm.
