About this Training:
Teaching to the Spine & Pelvis. Reading bodies. Detailed cueing based on specific anatomy. Let's explore posture in our modern world, y'all.
In this 50-hour training we will study the anatomy of posture, the core muscles of the body, and individual alignment. Each student is unique. This training will help us discover how can we "read bodies" and cue our students into better posture while still acknowledging the distinct structures of our students.
We will discuss working with back pain, postural and core muscles, anatomy of the back and upper extremity, how we can strengthen and maintain our postural structure, as well as how our posture affects us energetically (chakras, meridians) and mentally (meditation).
The real beauty of the Gaea Grounded® class is that the class focuses on the spine, our central column. is open to all levels - from those embarking on their first experience on a yoga mat to those who have much more practice with yoga asana. This versatility allows teachers to speak to a broader audience in the most productive way possible. Basically, the knowledge gained from this training allows yoga teachers to teach students from the ground up. If we want more people to practice yoga, we need more competent and knowledgeable teachers willing and capable of teaching the newbies.
