Join Kate Smith on the evening of the Summer Solstice to honor the shift of seasons from Spring to Summer.
Summer is a Yang time of year. Let’s use Yin Yoga, Essential Oils, & Meditation to balance the heat and fire of summer.
In Summer, we burst forth from the hibernation of Winter and the budding of Spring to venture into the FIRE of the Summer season when our hearts can truly blossom. We will discuss how this transformation of the seasons plays into our yoga practice as well as how to harness the vibrant and BRIGHT yang energy of the Summer.
Kate Smith will prepare an essential oil blend in honor of the Summer Solstice to share with the group.
These events tend to fill up. Space is limited.
Mother's Day this year happens to fall on the 5-year anniversary of Gaea Yoga's (re)opening in 2012. AND it's Kate Smith's first class back since the birth of her daughter. So we are celebrating by having a 90-minute Yin class where all the proceeds go to charity. Maia Moms is a local charity supporting single mothers and we couldn't be more excited to support their cause.
Kate Smith will guide us through one of her signature 90-minute Yin Yoga classes celebrating and honoring the Divine Mother - one of our deepest sources of Yin. This will not be a girly class. The Divine Mother is FIERCE, y'all. Men are encouraged and welcomed.
Please note: There are NO REFUNDS. No transfers. No credits. All money will be donated to charity. 😉
One of our FAVORITE people on the planet is coming to Charleston, y’all!!! Gil Hedley! What a treat….Kate has been dreaming of this for years and saying her prayers that Gil would come our way….We are ecstatic.
Gil Hedley, foremost anatomist, is a teacher to both Kate and Legare Smith. Kate has dissected with Gil numerous times and Legare had the privilege to partake in a dissection in San Francisco, CA a few years back. Dissections with Gil are transformational, life-chains experiences. Gil’s perspective on anatomy is both vast and unique. If you, like most of us Gaea Yogis, have a keen interest in the body, you will not want to miss this event.
The whole Gaea Family (all the instructors at Gaea) are signed up! We’d LOVE to see YOU there!
Start your New Year off right. Dedicate to your body and soul from day ONE of the New Year.
