Saturday, December 24 ~ 9:30-10:30 am with Kate Counts
This class has a $5 drop-in fee. There is no need to pre-register for this class. We do recommend showing up early to the class as it is possible that the class will be full.
Our Yang classes at Gaea are energetic, often sweaty, and certainly get the heart rate up. The class is open to all levels although experience with flow yoga is helpful. Basically, we don’t recommend that you’re an absolute beginner to a yoga mat and take this class. As long as you don’t have any joint issues and you’re in good shape physically, this class should fun and uplifting for you before the true festivities begin.
Get Your Kombucha In the Kitchen
Tuesday, September 15 ~ 7:30-9:30 pm FREE OF CHARGE
Kate Counts the Kombucha Momma will lead us through the process of cultivating our own homemade kombucha. She will discuss what Kombucha is, why it’s all the rave, and how/why it might be a healthy and helpful addition to our yogic lifestyles. During this class, a limited number of scobies will be available for purchase for $5 each. A scoby, also know as “the mother”, is your personal source to start creating kombucha on your own at home. She will also teach us how to blend varieties of kombucha using different teas and fruits.
Kate Counts is a Gaea Yoga Instructor and Certified Health Coach and brews her own kombucha on the regular. She is stoked to teach this class and share her knowledge with all the yogis at the Hive.
The Yoga Hive is an aspect of our Gaea Yoga School (teacher training) open to the public and FREE OF CHARGE. Join us Tuesday, September 15 – 7:30-9:30 pm. To sign up, please visit our Schedule page and click the SIGN UP button on the date of the Yoga Hive that you wish to attend. Space is limited. Cheers, y’all.
